Ronald Eugene Park

Ronald E. Park, 65, of Canal Winchester, passed away on January 31, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 15, 1960 to William and Melinda, in Columbus. He worked for the city of Columbus at the Southerly WWTP. Ronny was an avid hunter and car show enthusiast and shared his hobbies with his son and granddaughters and future grandson. He had a tireless work ethic and unwavering dedication to his family. He'd be the first to lend a hand whether it was through sharing his wisdom or through physical labor.

He possessed a deeply thoughtful nature, always considering others thoughts and needs. With his legendary sense of humor it was hard to tell if he was going to give great advice or possibly inappropriate and hilarious comments, but you were guaranteed to get one or the other, especially if you were around the time clock at his job or at a family function.

He was a pillar for family, friends, coworkers and neighbors alike.

In addition to his father, William Park, he was preceded in death by sister, Lisa Park, uncles Orvel Park, Jim Park, Phil Park, Everett Park and Billie Jacobs. Aunts Donna Buzzard, Sue Park, and Nellie Park. Grandparents Homer and Lilian Jacobs and Raymond and Ruby Park.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sheila Park; mother, Melinda Crothers; son, Ron Park Jr.; daughter Angela Park; granddaughters Lindsey & Layah Park; grandson Caiden Poff; siblings, Susie (Mike) Woods, Billie (Chris) Crase, John (Cindy) Park; Sister in law Linda Straight, uncle Steve Park, aunt Caroline Park, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 10th from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. with funeral service at 1 p.m. at Oliver Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W Main St, Ashville, OH 43103 with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.
