Rose M. Baldwin age 71 of Commercial Point, Ohio passed away Monday, Mar. 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 18, 1941 in Columbus, OH to the late Walter Henry Johnson and Anna Mae (Koontz) Johnson who survives. Rose retired after 48 years with the Credit Bureau of Columbus. She loved to take care of children and grandchildren. She was an avid OSU Football fan and loved animals. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by her husband of 47 years, William J. Baldwin; children Todd (Paula) Baldwin of Commercial Point, Amy (Lonnie II) Marlow of Ashville, and Tony (Bente') Baldwin of Grove City; grandchildren Jacob , Brooklyn, Haley, Jory, Aleign, Cierra, Tres, Anna, Kaleb and Ava; sisters and brothers, Rilla Greenlee, Helen (Celsie) Slone, Judy (Tom) Nash, Libby (Roy) Tackett, Lester "Muggs" Johnson, Dave (Nan) Johnson, and Dolly (Bob) Hakes; also numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thurs. at the Lighthouse Community Christian Church 11659 SR 104, just south of S.R.674 Ashville. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m on Fri. Mar. 15, 2013 at the Church with Pastor P.J. Rings officiating. Interment will follow in Beckett Cemetery, Commercial Point. Flowers may be taken to the church after 12:30 on Thurs or taken to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville.
