Ruby M (Dixon) Miller

Ruby May Miller, age 104 of Ashville went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016. Born on Aug. 22nd, 1912 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Tobe and Una (May) Dixon.   She was a longtime member of Blessed Hope Bible Church, where she attended regularly with some of her children and grandchildren.  She was a joy to all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness to Christ.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joseph B. Miller in 2004; a grandson Scott Kuhlwein, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  She is survived by children, David R. (Evelyn) Miller, Questa (Walter) Kuhlwein, Valley (Larry) Leist and Daniel (Vashti) Miller; brothers, Mike (Mary) Dixon and Bob Dixon; sisters, Lois Porter and Velma Hay; 21 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 19, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.  Funeral Service  11:00 a.m. on Tues. Dec. 20, 2016  at Blessed Hope Bible Church with Pastor Todd Hautala officiating, at the corner of   State Routes 752 and 674 , Ashville, OH .  Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery.
