Ruth L. (Cummins) Humphrey

Ruth Leona Cummins Mitcham Humphrey, 85, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Ruth was born on April 12, 1937, at home in Pickaway County Ohio to Lewis M Cummins and Grace E Gessels Cummins.  Ruth was a full-time homemaker for several years.  She then ran the Lewis M. Cummins & Son Surveying Stake business for her family before working as a clerk for Consolidated Corporation in Columbus Ohio.  In her later years she and her husband, Jerry, spent many wonderful winters at their vacation home in Florida fishing and golfing where she also discovered a talent for painting in watercolors.

She is survived by her children Debbie (Dave) Copen, Don (Karen) Mitcham, Diana (Steve) Cline, Dan (Susan) Mitcham and Jerry’s son Dave (Cathy) Humphrey with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
