Sally Ann (Curry) Raymond

Sally A. Raymond, 86, of Circleville passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on January 5, 2025. Sally was born on December 20, 1938 to William R Curry and Sarah Rhilda Hampp.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, blessed daughter Rhonda Jaye Raymond-St. Cin on July 13, 2007 and her beloved husband of 61 years William Allen Raymond on July 4, 2017.

She was also preceded in death by her dear Grandmother Cordelia Hampp, brother William R. Curry, Jr. ( Bub), Jay L Curry and his son William Marshall Curry, Ray E. Curry (Spike), Chester T. Curry(Teddy), also half brother Charles E Hamilton and his wife Joan (Wolfe) Hamilton, Ted and Shirley Raymond, Mark Geiger, Steve Clay, and special son-in-law William Scott Giroux.

Sally graduated from Circleville High School on May 18 , 1956 and on May 19, 1956 she married the love of her life, Bill, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She and Bill were blessed with 6 children: Tonya Sue Raymond Clay (Steve); Angel Rhonda Jaye Raymond St. Cin (Jimmy), Jill Rene Raymond Giroux (Scott), Lisa Monae Raymond Langley (John), Billie Ann Raymond Ward (David) and William Eric (Little Bill) Raymond (Lorerie), 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; Sally loved her sister, Rita Jean Geiger and sister-in-law Wanda Leasure.

Sally loved her family very much and was always there for them. Also left to morn her passing are her little dogs (her baby girls) Rainy and Coco. They were her constant companions and kept Sally always by their side.

Sally enjoyed playing scrabble with Jill, Lisa, and Billie, also doing all puzzles, especially Sudoku.

The family will receive friends the from 11am until 12pm Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W Main St, Ashville, where the funeral will immediately follow. Interment will occur at Forest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
