Shelvyjean I Wohnhas

Shelvyjean Wohnhas, age 88, of London, Ohio, formerly of Ashville, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Bluebird Nursing Facility. She was born on October 18, 1937 to the late Charles and Mary (Winland) Lash in Wheeling, WV. Married to her late husband Gary K. Wohnhas for 65 years. She was a stay- at- home mom raising three sons and sold Avon for many years in the Pickaway County area.

Beside her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother Tom Lash.

Shelvyjean leaves behind sons, Ranie of Flatwoods, KY, Monte (Joan) of Lubbock, TX, and Gary Lee (Kathy) of London; grandchildren, Jason K. (Stephanie) of Port Charlotte, FL, Jason N. of Modesto, CA, Ryan of Lawrenceburg, KY, Alea of Grove City, OH and Kylie of Circleville, OH; as well as six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103.
