Sherman (Sonny) M. Hunt

Sherman (Sonny) M. Hunt, 81 formerly of Columbus, OH passed away at his home in Pine Ridge, AL on Tues. Nov. 10, 2020.

He is preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Louise Hunt; sons Timothy I. Hunt and Sonny Hunt Jr.

Sonny is survived by wife Nancy Taylor Hunt; children Anthony (Tony) Hunt, Martin Hunt (Julie Parsley) of Columbus, Lisa Ann Hunt Porch (John) of Scottsboro, AL;  grandchildren Anthony L. Hunt II (Amanda), John C. Hunt, Brian Salyers, Ashley Hunt, Matt Hunt; several great grandchildren; nephew Jamie Hunt (Tracy); niece Angela Buzzard(Ron).

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mon. Nov. 16th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103.  A Graveside Service will follow at Obetz Cemetery.  Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are encouraged. Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
