Shirley R. (Gillette) Smoot

Shirley R. Smoot, age 79 of South Bloomfield passed away surrounded by family at Pickaway Manor, Circleville, OH on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2017.  Shirley was born on Feb. 25, 1938 to the late Captain James and Effie Gillette in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Dovel and Ruby Smoot; sister Hazel Cox; brothers-in-law Max Singer and Stewart Smoot.

Shirley is survived her husband, Robert; son, Danny (Lisa) Smoot and their son Cole; daughter, Tammy Lewis and her daughters Amber (Bronson) Roese and Ashley (Aaron) West; 3 great grandchildren Avery, McKenna and Addison; family friend, Marco Ccamaque; sisters, Verna Bungay, Jean (Horst) Kreyssig, Faye Schlecht and Marjorie (Don) Kalwa; sister-in-law, Pauline Singer; brother-in-law, John Cox.
