Stanley R. Gloyd

Stanley R. Gloyd, 88 of Ashville, OH passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville, OH. He was born in Jackson Township, Pickaway County, OH on January 3, 1938 to the late Edgar V. and Lela (Fletcher) Gloyd. He was self-employed as a carpenter for Cline Builders. Stanley was a member of Ashville Church of Christ of Christian Union for many years.

Besides his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by daughters Shelly Gloyd Webb and Jenny Lagore Cross; siblings Dorothy (Max) Craiglow, Helen (Ben) McCain, Edgar H. (June) Gloyd, Larry Gloyd, Jerry (Norma) Gloyd and Edith Ann Gloyd.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 62 years Donna (Clevenger) Gloyd; brother Gale Gloyd of Williamsport; grandson Heath Webb of Circleville; great granddaughter Madilynn Webb of Ashville; sons-in-law Bob Webb of Circleville and David Cross of Amanda; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Tuesday, September 15th at Ashville CCCU, 420 Long St. Ashville, OH 43103. Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Don Blankenship presiding.
