Steven Dale Hoffman

Steve  D.  Hoffman 66 of Ashville passed away on Monday, April 4th, 2016 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born on July 18, 1949 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late James Orland and Garnett Maxine (Angus) Hoffman.  Steve worked for TP Mechanical Contractors as an estimator for over 20 years and was a graduate of Reynoldsburg H.S..  He is survived by his wife of  35 years, Lynne M. (Schmidlin) Hoffman; children, Stacy (Chip) Bell of Bexley, Janna (Jim)  Maderia of Reynoldsburg, and Chad Hoffman of Ashville; grandchildren, Connor Maderia, Chase Hoffman, Haley Hoffman, and a number of other grandchildren; sister Nancy (Bert)  McNabb of New Albany; nephews and nieces , Mick (Lori) Wellman, Brooks (Kira) Schmidlin, Cathy (Dave) Roby,  Anthony (Ashley) Schmidlin, Taylor, Jordan, Skylar Roby, Ciera Schmidlin, Donald Whitmer, and Jimmy(Donya) O’Connor. The family will receive friends on Thurs. from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with a Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8th, 2016 with Rev.
