Tahrea N Maynard

Tahrea Naneve Maynard, 37, of Ashville, Ohio passed away suddenly on July 31st, 2024. She was born on March 30th, 1987. Tahrea is survived by her parents Mary and Brady Maynard, her sister and brother-in-law Junia and Jonathan Tyler Patrick, her brother and sister-in-law Caleb and Anna Moore, her brother Adam Tallent, her brother David, her nieces and nephew Justice, Quinn, Cameron, Solomon, Selah, and Penelope, her grandparents Brady and Ethel Maynard.

Tahrea was an individual who is hard to summarize into words. She was an experience and an explosion of energy and rainbows. She was a very passionate and loving Auntie Tt to her nieces and nephew. She didn’t have children of her own, but was a “mother” to children everywhere. She was an avid advocate of children, the LGBTQ+ community, and the theater.

Tahrea lived out loud and to truly honor her, her Celebration of Life will be full of music, color and the voices of those who she loved. If you plan to attend, please wear something bright and colorful in her memory.

Tahrea’s Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 7th, 2024. We will have two celebrations, the first one 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and the second 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The celebration will take place on the second floor at Roundtown Players Theater/Memorial Hall, 165 E. Main St. Circleville, OH. Thank you to Roundtown Players for opening their doors. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W Main St, Ashville, OH 43103.
