Timothy A Griffey

Timothy A. Griffey, 43 of Ashville, OH passed away at home on Sunday, November 8, 2020.  He was born on May 10, 1977 to Thomas F. and Edith A. (Schamehorn) Griffey in Circleville, OH.  Tim was a1995 graduate of Teays Valley and had worked as a Forklift Operator for T. Marzetti Foods.  He loved the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He enjoyed grilling and loved Leonard Skinner and Queen music.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas F. Griffey and grandparents Glen and Grace Schamehorn.  Tim is survived by daughter Morgan A. Griffey of Jackson; his mother Edith A. Griffey of Ashville; sister Angela Sager of Bexley; stepchildren Maria, Ely and Deborah Stamm; half-brother Thomas Griffey Jr. of Circleville; nephews Jacob and Caleb Sager; best friend Ian Harris; several cousins.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Tim’s life will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses to: Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
