Todd J. DeVolld, 60 of Ashville, OH passed away at home on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was born on June 3, 1964 in Zanesville, OH. He was a 1982 graduate of Caldwell High School and 1987 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in Sports Administration. In 1990, he met Trina Welch and they soon married. He worked for UPS for 36 years. Todd was an avid golfer and guitar player. He was a proud member of the Caldwell Sports Hall of Fame. His passion for football led him to a several year coaching career at Bloom Carrol High School. He loved the OU Bobcats, OSU Buckeyes, and Cincinnati Bengals. He traveled often, but especially loved his time in Key West. One of his favorite memories was the 15 years spent at Jamboree in the Hills with his wife and best friends. He loved his home and daily golf cart rides on the farm with his family and dog. He was also the family “Electronics Fixer.” His wife and daughters were his whole world. He dedicated his life to providing them a life full of love and experiences.
Todd is preceded in death by his father James L. DeVolld; friend and uncle Rick DeVolld; friends Pete, Jimmy, Poke/Randy, Dan, and Mike.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Trina E. (Welch) DeVolld; daughters Hope DeVolld and Brooke DeVolld; his mother Jeanne Ann Moore Moran; sisters Tonya DeVolld Briggs, Rhonda DeVolld (Steve) Bullock, Brenda DeVolld (Robert) Rockey and Deanna DeVolld (Ben) VanderBaan; father and mother-in-law Ronnie and Judy Welch; brothers-in-laws Tim (Kim) Welch and Trevor (Tiffany) Welch; his nieces Krysten (Joe) McElfresh, Michelle McElfresh, Bailey (Sarah) Welch-Pomerantz, Logan Welch, Alexis (Chris) Welch Sparks, Allyson and Audrey Bullock, Lily Rockey; his nephews Tyler (Samantha) McElfresh, Caleb (Emily) Welch, Samuel Welch; many other family members and great friends.
Family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, October 21st with a Memorial Service for sharing memories to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Laura Cavendish officiating at New Faith Church 6700 Thrush Dr, Canal Winchester, OH 43110.
