Virgil Allen

Virgil Allen 79 of So. Bloomfield, OH passed away Mon. July 18, 2016 surrounded by family.  He was born on April 29, 1937 in Pineville, KY.  He had worked as a welder.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (York) and Harvey Allen and his wife Thelma (Warix) Allen.

Virgil is survived by his children Jeryl Harris, Tom (Delinda) Allen, Tracy Allen, Denny (Valerie) Allen, Jennifer (Greg) Sturgill, Eric (Joey) Allen, grandchildren Tommy, Gregg, and TJ McConahay, Tiffany and Cassy Allen, Holly Smith, Billy Williams, Megan Embrey, Michelle Karshner, Kelli Peters, Karri Smith, Gregory Sturgill, and Molly Allen; as well as several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 20th from 5-8 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH with a Funeral Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
