Walter W. Koch, age 89 of Ashville, passed away Sunday Aug. 2, 2015 at Genesis Care Center, Circleville.  He was born May 5, 1926 at Ashville, Ohio son of the late Charles W. and Lora (Hartley) Koch.  Walter was a self-employed carpenter, an Airforce Veteran of WWII.  Member of Rick Brown Memorial Post VFW, South Bloomfield, Ohio.  He enjoyed time spent with the McDonalds Coffee Club.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Betty Lou (Musselman) Koch, 2nd wife, Lavada; daughter, Diane Koch; brothers, Robert and Charles Koch; sisters, Hazel Eccard, Cecil McPherson, and Bertha Berry and Gladys Harrison. He is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Ray) Fyke of GA; granddaughters, Tammy (Rex) Hardin of Logan, OH, Tonya Moody of GA, and Tenille (Jon) Partlow of Ga.; 9 great grandchildren; special friend, Rosie Roese, South Bloomfield

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tues. Aug. 4. 2015 at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville where services will be held 1 pm Wed. Aug. 5, 2015,Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating.  Burial will be in Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield.
