Wanda Bickers (Judd) Morehart

Wanda Bickers Morehart, age 83 of Ashville, Ohio passed away at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville on Thurs. March 9, 2017.  She was born on Sept. 12, 1933 to the late Ernest and Sylvia (Owen) Judd in Ellery, IL.  Wanda worked throughout the years as a seamstress, cleaning houses and waitressing.  She was a member of Village Chapel United Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husbands,  Teddy W. Bickers in 1999 and Richard J. Morehart in 2010; a son, Vernie Ray Swim and brothers, William, Raymond and Kenneth Judd.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Lessine) L. Swim and his sons, Dewey and James Swim of TX; stepchildren, Richard E. “Rick” (Marlene) Morehart of Ashville, James E. Morehart of Ashville, Linda (Jerome) Chaney of TX, Cheryl (David) Anderson of Grove City, Jerry A. Morehart of Ashville, Jeffrey A. Morehart (Lisa Fravel) of Columbus, Kevin C. Morehart of Glenwood, WV and numerous step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 12th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 13th at the funeral home,  officiated by Pastor Kevin Pees with Interment following at Harrison Twp. Cemetery in South Bloomfield, OH.  In lieu of flowers donations in Wanda’s memory can be made to:  Ashville Food Pantry, 94 Long St., Ashville, OH 43103 or Village Chapel UMC, 30 Circleville Ave. Ashville, OH 43103
