William L. Blue

William L. Blue, age 72, of Circleville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at his residence. William was born in Circleville on November 13, 1953, to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Halasi) Blue. He was a 1972 graduate of Westfall High School, where he was a FFA member. He was a lifelong farmer with a passion for the Guernsey cow, actively involved in the Ohio Guernsey Breeders Association.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Linda L. (Fausnaugh) Blue; and sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Myron Leist.

William leaves behind a son Tom Blue; siblings, Jim (Roxann) Blue, Rick (Arlene) Blue, Susan (Bill) Parker, Bobbie (Pat) Rooney, and Linda England; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends in the farming community.

A Memorial Service will be held later at the convenience of the family. Arrangements and care of the family have been entrusted to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in memory of William be made to: Ohio PDCA Dairy Incentive Program and mailed to Julie Aegerter, 6740 State Route 9, Hanoverton, OH 44423.
