William F. McClary Sr.

William F. McClary Sr., age 85, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. William was born on March 22, 1940, in Columbus, to the late Harry and Doris McClary. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked for General Motors as a forklift driver. William enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle and playing guitar.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Langdon (2017); daughter, Doris McClary; sons, William Jr. and Dennis McClary; brothers, Jerry McClary, Harry (Duke) McClary and Carl (Bud) McClary; brother-in-law Doug Sasfy.

William is survived by his daughter Debora (Chuck) Robey; sister Nancy Sasfy; grandkids Josh (Jamie) Robey, Tonya (Brent) Writesel, Michael (Christine) Sturgell, Shawn (Lindsay) Sturgell, Sommer (Dulce) Nevarez, Winter Music, Ryan (Tasha) McClary, Kristen McClary, Donovan (Katherine) McClary, Jayden McClary; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson Preston Robey; sisters-in-law, Shirley McClary, Hannah McClary, Joanne McClary; special friend Ronnie.
