Cheryl M (Banks) Davis

Cheryl M. Davis, 78 of Ashville, OH formerly of California, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH.  She was born on November 30, 1944 to the late Edward and Eunice (Collier) Banks Sr. in New Haven, CT. She had a Master’s degree from American Intercontinental University and worked as a Human Resources Manager for many years at Waste Management then retired from North Face. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved to read, crochet and scrapbook with her girlfriends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Edward Banks Jr. and her grandson Ryeshone Davis Jr.

Cheryl is survived by children McCauley Richard Odom II, Mark Allen Fleming, and Kelly Marie Davis; grandchildren Quincy Odom, Mahari Mitchell, Kryshone, Kyla, Tayshone, Jayshone, Kierra, Dreshone, Shyara (Zack), Chayla, Syiesha, Deshone, Jamyra Davis and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation with Family will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 5 PM to 7 PM with a Memorial Service at 6 PM at Cypress Wesleyan Church 377 Alton Darby Creek Road, Galloway, Ohio 43119.  In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Ohio State University James Cancer Research Center.
