Obituary
Donald R Sherman, 68 of Ashville, OH passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Donald was born on March 10, 1955 in Lockbourne, OH to the late Roy Donald and Olga Rose (Gernovich) Sherman. He was a 1973 graduate of Bloom Carroll High School and a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Donald had worked as Service Director for the City of Circleville and before that many years for Fairfield Utilities. Donald attended St. John The 23rd Catholic Church in Lithopolis.
Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by an infant son Mark Daniel Sherman.
Donald is survived by wife Susan M. (Pastrick) Sherman; children Elizabeth Sherman, Rachel (Alex) Lonsberry, Matthew (Sarah) Sherman; granddaughter Anneliese Lonsberry and another one on the way; special aunt and uncle Doris and Alex Gernovich.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25th at Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville.
