Goldia I. Everts, 77 of Columbus, OH passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Goldia was born on March 26, 1943 to the late Robert and Laura Ruth (McConkey) Hunter in Fayette County, OH. Goldia was a substitute Educational Aide for many years for Hamilton Township School and was a member of Lockbourne United Methodist Church and a member of Hamilton Twp./Groveport Garden Club.
Besides her parents, Goldia was preceded in death by siblings Mary Lou Crago, Leslie James Hunter and Raymond Hunter.
Goldia is survived by her husband of 61 years, Elmer W. Everts; children Teresa Edington and Robert (Lisa) Everts; grandson Jeremy Edington; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 11th with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103 with Rev. Beth Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Bloomingburg Cemetery in Fayette County. Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are encouraged.
