Harold W. Stevenson

Harold William McKinley John Thomas Stevenson, born December 13, 1938, entered into eternal rest November 15, 2021 at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 2 days with his wife of 35 years, Ms. Kathy, and his daughter Stephanie at his bedside.

Harold retired from Pickaway Correctional Institution after 30 years, enjoyed deer hunting and was a member of The Swiss Alliance Helvetia Beneficial Society.  He spent 3 years in Germany serving his country in the United States Army.

Harold accepted Christ on September 28, 2021, securing his home in Heaven with Jesus and will now be able to renew his acquaintance with his son, Robert, who preceded him in death 61 years ago at the age of only 3 precious days.  Harold will be sadly missed by friends and family. 

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alice (Agin) Stevenson and a son, Robert and survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn (Castle) and daughters, Stephanie and Eva, sons John and Mark, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lighthouse Community Christian Church, 11659 State Route 104, Ashville, OH 43103 and one hour prior to the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19th  with Pastor P.J. Rings officiating. AMVETS 2256 Military Honors Service and Interment will follow at Harrison Twp. Cemetery in South Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd.
