James Richard Stickel

James Richard Stickel, 68, of Ashville, OH, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.   He was born on May 7, 1955, in Columbus, to the late Pearl and Florence (Scott) Stickel.  He graduated from Johnstown-Monroe H. S., class of 1973. Stick retired from Rush Enterprises in Columbus after many years as regional service manager, then found his way back to work again for Rush.

Survived by his significate other of 30 plus years, Renate Coultas; sons Jimmy (Joyce) Stickel and Jonathan (Melissa) Stickel; grandchildren Tearsa, Brandie, and Gracie; sister Debbie; his cats that he referred to as his babies, Monte and Sterling; and the Rush Enterprise Family and friends from Lakeside Resort Campground at Hargus Lake.  The family would like to thank Grant Medical Center and staff for all their great care during this time.

The family will receive friends on Thurs. Nov. 16th from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville with Rev. John Norris officiating.
