Jerry E. Lawless

Jerry E.  Lawless, 62 of Orient, OH passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Grove City.   He was born on Aug. 22, 1960 in Columbus to the late Michael Lawless and Christine (Dunn) Lawless, who survives.

Jerry was a graduate of Teays Valley and in years past had worked for Eitel’s Towing and Strawser Leasing for 20 plus years.   He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, enjoyed fishing, collecting toy tractors, and going to antique tractor shows.   Jerry was a past Boy Scout Leader. 

Besides his father he was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister Deborah.

Survived by his mother Christine; fiancé Teresa L. Yonis; daughters April Lawless (Joseph Brigner) and Brittany Lawless; stepdaughter Rebecka (John) Crego; step son Richard (Samatha) O’Dell; sister Sherry (Jeff) Mounts; grandchildren, Charlee, Caroline, Mackenzie, Kenneth, Jerry, Marla, and Derick; several nieces and nephews; his little dog, pee pee.

Cremation will take place and a Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 4th at Beckett Cemetery, Commercial Point with Pastor Brian Dunham officiating.
