Jill (Zwayer) Roese

Jill Roese, 84 of Ashville, OH passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Pickaway Manor in Circleville, OH.  Jill was born July 16, 1939 in Grove City, OH, to the late Leo and Eveline (Wood) Zwayer.  Jill retired from the Teays Valley School District where she served as a secretary at Ashville Elementary School for many years. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley (Peach) Roese; sisters Billie Campbell and Dixie Cummins and a brother, Kent Zwayer.

She is survived by her son, Lance (Dawn) Roese of South Bloomfield; grandchildren Bronson and Clint Roese and Lesley Hix; great grandchildren Curtis, Carson and Evie Hix, Avery Roese, Scarlet and Caroline Roese; sister Sharon Martin; also several nieces.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday October 5th at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main Street, Ashville. Memorial Service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Keith Deel officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Harrison Twp.
