Naomi June (Miller) Defoe

Naomi June Defoe, age 83 of Circleville, OH passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare in Circleville.  She was born on Aug. 3, 1934 in McArthur, OH to the late John Francis and Florence Naomi (Featheroff) Miller.  Naomi was a graduate of McArthur High School and worked as a waitress for 40 years retiring from Russ’s Restaurant on High St. Columbus.  Naomi was a member for 33 years of Full Gospel Deliverance Chapel on Duvall Rd.

Along with her parents, Naomi is preceded in death by daughter Janice Defoe, great granddaughter Jade Asbury, brothers John, Bill and Dale.

Naomi is survived by children Ronald (Rita) DeFoe of VA, Deb Asbury of Circleville, Randy (Ruth) Wallar of Creola, OH and Penny Miller of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; brother Doyle Miller of Canada and beloved friends Martha Massie and her late husband Pastor Ralph Massie and Pete and Fonz Ireton.

Visitation will be on Sat. Mar. 10, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 with Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Patrick Whitt officiating at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
