Neal Eugene Mower, age 81, of Ashville, Ohio, went peacefully home to the Lord on Monday, August 1, 2023. Neal was born in Bryan, Ohio, and has been a resident of Ashville since 1979.
Neal gave his life to Jesus on April 7, 1976, together with his wife, Merleen. He loved Jesus, and deepened his spiritual walk with the Lord even more in this last year of his life.
He was so proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family, serving the Lord in his church and as a Trail Life Troop Chaplain. He loved travel and had been to all 50 States. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and of course, football.
He was a proud member of the Village Chapel Church in Ashville, Ohio, and loved his spiritual family there.
Neal is survived by his wife of 60 years, Merleen Mower; three children, Pam (Richard) Klim, Joni (Richard) Hall, and Andrew (Sara) Mower; grandchildren, Greta Klim, Elliot (Claire) Klim, Vincent (Diana) Klim, Logan Mower, Paige (J) Camarena, Bryce Mower, John Printz, and Bailey Printz.
The Ministry that Neal was so thrilled to financially support is the Peniel Church Ministry in the African Congo, started by his Spiritual Mentor, Sergio Kinsala. This incredible Ministry supports and builds the Lord's Churches there and provides Bibles for all of the believers who cannot afford Bibles of their own.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to share in supporting the Peniel Church Ministry in Neal's Memory, please email his daughter, Pam Klim (for online donations link) at klimwellness@gmail.com or send memorials to: Sergio Kinsala, 195 Weston Road, Wellesley, MA 02482. Please see photos on tribute wall.
