Obituary
Patricia A. (Foreman) Pontius, 92 of Ashville passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Logan Elm Health Care Center in Circleville, OH. Patricia was born on August 25, 1930 to the late Hurshal and Norene (Decker) Foreman in Shadeville, OH. She was a 1948 graduate of Hamilton Twp. Schools and retired as a secretary from the Teays Valley Superintendents office with over 25 years and was a member of Eastern Star and Trinity Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” N. Pontius and numerous brothers and sisters.
Patricia is survived by sons Rick (Darlene), Craig (Denise) and Tom (Wanda) Pontius; grandchildren Jenny, Devan (Jakye) and Jason (Christie) Pontius, Ryan (Lori) Pontius and Tracy (Nick) Rieke, Brandon (Christa) and Nicholas (Kara) Pontius; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103. Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery, Winchester Rd. Ashville. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to: Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 E. Mound St. Circleville, OH 43113.
