Patricia Runkle Obituary
Patricia A. (Jennings) Runkle, 74, of Columbus, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born on July 15, 1949, to the late Elbert, Jr. and Willa Mae Jennings, in Paintsville, KY.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Gaston and second husband, Ralph E. Runkle, the love of her life; sister Delores J. Jennings; grandsons Isaiah Runkle; Gregory Runkle II, Christopher Runkle and R. Michael Runkle, Jr.
She is survived by daughters Christina (Sean) Cochran of Columbus and Lea Ann Banks of Blacklick; sons R. Michael (Cindy) Runkle, Sr. of Canal Winchester, and Greg Runkle of Columbus; granddaughters Katie Simmons and Alyssa L. Runkle; great grandchildren Ayiana, Chione, Xavier, Timothy Jr., Brayden, Eva, Ikora, and Aizen; sisters Ernestine Kornmiller, Helen Michels, and Carol Sue (Ben) Pelphrey; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend of 61 years, Connie Strahl; family friend Fawzy Aly.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W.
