Phyllis L (Thompson) Lee

Phyllis L. Lee, 89 of South Bloomfield, OH passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital.  Phyllis was born on October 6, 1934 to the late Lewis and Lois (Allen) Thompson at their home in Circleville.

Beside her parents she was preceded by brothers, Don, Daryl, and Mike Thompson; sister Betty Parmer.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Harold C. Lee of 71 years; children Clifta (Mike) Cameron of South Bloomfield, Jeff (Betty) Lee of Ashville, and Kimberly Gregg of South Bloomfield; grandchildren, Chad (Rocky) Black, Brad (Lori) Black, Carrie (Ryan) Morrison, Corey Black (Kendra Gabriel), Christina Gregg-Ljubi, Jacque Gregg, Dustin (Megan) Lee and Carly (Mike) Hyer;  great grandchildren Ryanna, Jayden and Kenlee Morrison, Molly and Toby Black, Madison and Kensington Black, Emma, Ellie and Ethan Black, Keyan Wilson, Christopher J. Gregg, Christian and Jaxton Ljubi; 2 step great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren;

sister Marsha (Mike) Taylor of Groveport.

Phyllis was a member of the So. Bloomfield Methodist Church, she loved her card ministry and sent hundreds of cards a year to the people of her church and sang in the choir for many years.  She volunteered for years at the So. Bloomfield Library, Ashville Food Pantry and Berger Hospital.   Phyllis worked alongside her husband Harold in the family business, Harold’s Machinery, for many years. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2nd from 6-8 p.m. at the Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3rd with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating.
