Roger Lee Hopkins, a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2023, at the age of 71. He was surrounded by his family and friends in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born on February 26, 1952, Roger was a son of the late Sam and Midge Hopkins. He grew up in Chillicothe, Ohio, with his 3 brothers Sam, Ken, David and Sisters Bonnie and Judy, Roger went on to build a beautiful and fulfilling life with his beloved wife, Lillian Michele Hopkins.

Roger was a pillar of strength for his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years, Lillian Michele Hopkins, who was the love of his life and his constant companion. Their love was a testament to the enduring power of commitment and partnership.

Roger was a loving and caring father to his children, Roger Hopkins and his wife Lisa Hopkins of Circleville, Ohio, and Summer Loar and husband Ricky Loar of Baltimore, Ohio. He was their guiding light, always providing unwavering support, wisdom, and love.

As a grandfather, Roger was a source of joy and inspiration to Brandon Loar of Baltimore, Ohio, and Haley Sturgill and husband Greg Sturgill. He cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, and they admired him deeply.

In his later years, Roger embraced the role of a great-grandfather with immense pride and love. He leaves behind Mia Loar of Lancaster, Ohio, Oakley and Lillimae Sturgill of Circleville, Ohio. He delighted in watching them grow and flourish, passing on his wisdom and love.

Roger was a hardworking and dedicated man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, he had a kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering generosity. He touched the lives of many with his love, kindness, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we say our final goodbyes to Roger Lee Hopkins, we remember not only the loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather but also the legacy of love and family he leaves behind. He will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
