Obituary
Ruth I. Neff, 92 of Mt. Sterling, OH passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Mt. Sterling Place. Ruth was born on February 20, 1931 to the late Thomas and Mettie (Valentine) George in South Bloomfield, OH. She was a 1949 graduate of Ashville-Harrison School and worked as a Beautician owning Ruth’s Beauty Shop in Mt. Sterling.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sons Michael George Neff and Eugene Lloyd Neff; sister Darlene Fout.
Ruth is survived by daughter Joice (Harold) Seymour; sister Shirley Rhymer; nieces and nephews.
Per Ruth’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services observed. Arrangements and care of the family have been entrusted to Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville. Online condolences at olivercheekfuneralhome.com
