Ruth Parsley Obituary

Ruth Ann Parsley, 72 of Circleville, OH passed away at home on Sunday, February 21, 2021.  Ruth was born on November 6, 1948 to the late Frank and Dorie (Robinson) Copley in Kermit, WV.  Ruth Ann was retired from Columbus Industries and enjoyed singing gospel with Glory Bound Singers at different churches around the area. 

Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by grandson Steven Reinhart; brothers Andy, David, Burl, Donlee, Wayne and Neil Copley; sisters Estella Varney and Shirley McCann.

Ruth is survived by children Brian Parsley of FL, Sharlene (Wade) Jones and Darlene Parsley, both of Circleville; grandchildren Trent (Kacy), Alisha, Gage, Seth, Daniel and Jacob; great grandchildren Jayden, Aria, Adaline, Maverick and one on the way; sisters Carolyn Brewer, Erelene Hodge and Thelma Phills; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24th at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville 43103 with Rev. Randolph Varney officiating.  Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing are encouraged.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:  Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd. Ste.
