Virginia “Pidge” Webster, 74 of South Bloomfield, OH passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on February 6, 1949 in South Bloomfield to the late Marvin and Virginia Lucille (Donaldson) Webster. Pidge was a 1967 graduate of Teays Valley High School, retired from the U.S. Postal Service with over 37 years of service and also retired from Ashville Elementary School and South Bloomfield Elementary School as a custodian for over 13 years. Pidge loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her children.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Donald “Butch” and Carol Webster; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and John Nicholson; nephew Rick Everts; great great niece Aubree Brady.
Survived by brother Gerald (Allene) Webster of Orient; sister Pam (Charles) Moody of Ashville; nephews and nieces, Donnie (Joyce) Webster, Twila (Jimbo) Brady, Brian (Angelica) Everts, Paula Everts, and April Webster; special great niece Kayla (Tommy) Phelps; great nieces and great nephews, Scotty (Abby), Nathaniel (Chelsie), Ashley (Trever), Alec, Kody, Conner, Blaike (Jacob), and Taylor; her special little caregivers great great nieces Amberlee and Maggie; great great nieces and nephew, Emelia, Harper, and Knox; special aunt, Patty Sharp and numerous cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 31st from 5-8 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, OH 43103 with a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1st with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield. Family request those coming for visitation and service to wear something red, white, and blue or Cincinnati Bengals colors.
