William “Bill” M. Hott, 79 of Orient, OH passed away at home on Monday, March 1, 2021. Bill was born on July 14, 1941 to the late Harold and Ruth (Layton) Hott in Lancaster, OH. Bill served in the U.S. Army stationed in South Korea. He worked in the Maintenance Dept. for Anheuser-Busch for 32 years and worked for Scioto Township for 15 years. Bill was a member of AMVETS Post 1941 Kevin Ott Harrisburg, VFW 11208 Harrisburg, Harrisburg United Methodist Church and International Cockshutt Tractor Club.
Besides his parents, Bill is preceded in death by brothers Tom and Don.
Bill is survived by wife of 57 years Leslee Kaye (Melvin) Hott; children Troy Hott and Kelli Brigner of Orient; grandchildren Joey (Amber) Brigner of New Franklin, Kaysy Brigner of Orient, Cede (Kenny) Pennington of Orient; great grandchildren LeeAnna, Dallas, Carson, Octavia, Zaden “Zeke” and Kora Jo; brother Robert (Georgia) Hott of CA; sister Kathy Stump of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Sophie, his dog.
Graveside Service at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 4th with Terry Little presiding and AMVETS Military Honors at Beckett Cemetery in Commercial Point.
