Michael Steven Burchett

Michael  Steven Burchett age 65 of South Bloomfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016 at Specialty Select Hospital.  He was born on May 9, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Homer and Faye  (Browning ) Burchett.  Michael was a lifelong upholsterer, owner of Burchett’s Auto Trim and had also worked with his father at Sterling Auto Top. He had a great passion for historical vehicles.  He and his wife had attended Turn Point Apostolic Church in Groveport. When Michael was younger his was involved with DeMolay International.  Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 42 years Esther Mae (Hyrne)  Burchett; brothers, Greg (Marti) Burchett, Terry and Neil Burchett; daughter Lynn Burchett; son Michael (Sherri) Burchett; grandchildren, Alton, Dylan, Antonio, Alexander, Matthew, Annamarie Burchett; nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.  In keeping with Michael’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private gathering will be held  at the convenience of the family.
